The film language is characterized by the simultaneity of five different semiotic systems. Four of them come from other artistic disciplines intertextuality: the image (Crown paint), sound (music from), the staging (derived from theatrical drama) and narrative (linked directly with the literature) . As in the rest of his films, Nolan develops different story lines (which call LN according to the scheme established in our filmograma on the director) that are interrelated. For Interstellar these different segments move linearly in most of the footage until, as we shall see, time and space are altered, causing a parallel narrative mismatch. The first of these lines is the prologue (LN0) corresponding to an uncertain moment in time, shown by a series of personal testimonies extracted from different interviews.
