Halfway through the first decade of the twenty-first century, the so-called multicultural comedy 'emerging. The term was coined in response to the films' Shouf Shouf Habibi! "(2004) and" The Schnitzel Paradise "(2005), which occurred many immigrant actors and whose themes emphasized the interaction between foreigners and natives. Especially 'The Schnitzel Paradise', a book by Khalid Boudou, garnered high praise from both the Dutch and the foreign press. He played at many international festivals (including Berlin) and was recorded by the famous magazine Variety in their Critic's Choice, a list of the ten best European films of that year. "The Schnitzel Paradise 'was sold to many countries, allowing him to many countries in the cinema show were actor and Micha Hulshof received the award for" Best Performance in a Foreign Film' on the American HBO Comedy Arts Festival. Moreover, the core of the cast collectively won a Golden Calf for best supporting actor. An actor appearing in many multicultural comedies, it is Mimoun Oaïssa. Already at the time of 'Shouf Shouf Habibi! "And" The Schnitzel Paradise "He walked around with the idea for" The Masters "(2015), a hip hop comedy in which a group of unsuccessful friends their old dream to make it in the music business, new life trying to resurrect. For ten years he discussed his ideas and characters with Ruben van der Meer, who both "Shouf Shouf Habibi!" And "The Schnitzel Paradise" played a bit part. There can therefore be expected that the characters are alive., Download Crimson Peak 2015 Full Movie
Central to "The Masters' state Aziz (Mimoun Oaïssa), a thirty-something stuck in its adolescence. He dreams of a great career as a rapper, but in fact his life is one big failure. He gathers together some pennies on the scrap heap, to buy tickets to the rap concert of the famous Marra (Maurice's Negativland 'Delchot). He hoping to impress his son Karim (Sami Ballafkir), which by his mother Miriam (Elise Schaap) is kept away from his father. But then turn out the cards Marketplace false Aziz and makes the fur so that he ends up with his son in the cell. The rudder should drastically, if he wants to see his son. And so he drums his three old friends, the boys with whom he was ten years ago it was rapcollectief The Masters and at the local level - in the local community center - successes knew. Marco (Ruben van der Meer), which like Aziz works at the junkyard and fills his days with further suck on a hookah and the retirement of his old addict mother (Tosca Niterink) gamble, is the first bites. It is more difficult to get Lloyd (Olivier 'Willie Wartaal' Locadia) across. He would have liked to have worked in the community center, but now forced to earn a living as a delivery man who sees conspiracies everywhere in. Once he is on the line, is the biggest hurdle. The fourth member, Donny (Guido Pollemans), is now a brave namely office mouse is seriously under slab at his tyrannical wife Sandra (Lies Visschedijk), also the daughter of the boss. He is still music, but then as organist of the church choir led by his wife. Donny can not really show up with this motley crew. Still, he allows himself to be persuaded by the insistent charmer Aziz ("If we are not to go then we will soon suckers with much regret ... and little hair."). The Masters 2.0 is born.,Download Crimson Peak 2015 Full Movie
Director and scriptwriter Ruud Schuurman follows very clearly the familiar pattern of the feelgood comedy. That makes the movie quite predictable, since no cliché is shunned. How certain story elements go smoothly, you can see coming from miles away. That you as the viewer scarcely bothers you, is the merit of the cast. 'The Masters' friends is a real project and it shows the enthusiasm of the actors. Especially in the hilarious scene in which the disorderly during a first appearance - a Sweet Sixteen party-in a hole somewhere in the Achterhoek - a horde of rampaging youths tries to shake off the dullness of it dripping off. Even when Aziz and co not much later their first professional music video trying to take - they pretend to be gangsta rappers, so think speedboats, expensive cars, bling and scantily clad women - things get hilariously haywire. It is this kind of scenes that Oaïssa and missing the viewer knows to charm. The more dramatic elements, such as the difficult relationship with his son Aziz, pack less well off. We would rather hear Aziz struggles with his rhymes ("Pervert, you sew hippo ') on the first single" Quite dangerous. Despite their awkward fumbling and their lack of talent close this idlers at the end of the film still in your heart.

Film is the medium par excellence to break the fourth wall. In direct terms, to an actor than the audience by talking into the camera. More indirectly, and interestingly, it is when external people end up in the film. In the Dutch cinema is "Ober" (Alex Van Warmerdam, 2006) as an example of this. The film tells about a pathetic waiter, who looks through a meeting with his creator, screenwriter Herman, a chance to do something about his impoverished life. It opens the way for a series of humorous but also stylistically unconventional events that have free rein. Moreover, the film provides insight about the medium itself and the non-deterministic manner in which it can be looked at life.
'J. Kessels' has a similar approach. Here it is the real-life writer P.F. Thomese who gets caught up in his own really written novel. The result is a persistent writer's block, which is accompanied by a strong reminder of the past. The desire to Brigitte, the beautiful village of his youth, his concentration does no good. When another figure from his childhood asks him in Hamburg, Germany to look for a lost meatballs king, there's only one thing to do: with his favorite fictional character J. The result is a madcap road movie, which will have the least of his plot and above all the stops gets to visually overwhelm the viewer. This has been successful. Director Erik de Bruyn celebrated his return to the film front with a limitless and humorous approach. The film is in constant motion. The colorful frames enhance the aesthetic richness. The setdressing and art direction have done their job well. The soundtrack, full of unadulterated country and western, easy listening.
The actors have free reign. Fedja van Huêt put a grotesque Thomese down, which fits the postmodern character of the film. In terms of content, it is also an appropriate acting style, because his character more fictitious than realistic side knows. It is the Thomese who writes about himself we get here especially to see. A cartoonish exaggeration fits well with that. The Kessels of Frank Lammers is like we are used to. The detective swipes are nostalgic on the loose, continuous with a beer in hand and a cigarette in the mouth. Ultimately, both characters ends of the spectrum of personal Thomese itself. But if the spectator is now somewhat closer to the true identity of the umbrella Thomese has come, is very questionable.,Download Kidnap 2015 Full Movie

A little more variety in the talking heads scenes the film had probably done. Probably lack of time Cobos played tricks since Nelson's only a week staying in the Netherlands and his precious time course mostly went up to the 5th Symphony by Shostakovich. Fortunately, but then that interest in the layered masterpiece will rise through this documentary anyway.

Download Movie  The Final Earthquake – Part II 2006

Disaster movies are as old as the road to Rome. In encyclopedias film is' The Last Days of Pompeii "in 1935 is generally considered the first real disaster. The destruction of Pompeii by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD was imaged in spectacular fashion by the same people who the (then) groundbreaking special effects for "King Kong" (1933) were taken care of. It immediately became clear that the development of the disaster movie genre and the special effects would go hand in hand. Most disasters could to for obvious reasons, are in fact never been filmed in real life.
In '10 .5: The Final Earthquake - Part II 'it seems like the makers all the calamity that seen in previous films had have thrown together. Earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, floods, collapsing buildings; in this mini series all happens. For a good picture of the current situation, it is useful if you've seen Part I, as a viewer, but that is not necessary. It rolls so easily from one to the other disaster you've quickly by what preceded it,Download Everest 2015 Full Movie.
If an earthquake of unprecedented proportions affecting the west coast of America, work is again cut out for seismologe Samantha Hill (Kim Delaney, known for the series "NYPD Blue"). Along with geologist Jordan Fisher (David Cubitt, 'Ali') is trying it on behalf of the US President Paul Hollister keep (Beau Bridges, the older brother of 'The Big Lebowski' Jeff) the disaster under control. Samantha is emerging as a model of courage and resilience. But when a tsunami wipes Waikiki island of the card, she confirms her fear of the potentially disastrous consequences of the quake. Aftershocks, volcanic eruptions, explosions, floods and meteorological disturbances follow each other in rapid succession, and the crack in the earth's crust created thereby threatening the eastern and separating the western part of the continent apart ,Download Everest 2015 Full Movie
Director and writer John Lafia has a slew of actors drummed up people who are confronted in their own way with the disasters. Dean Cain (Superman in the series Lois & Clark "), for example, is a volunteer who, along with his brother signed up to help with rescue operations. And lets just say his sister in law, who has just discovered that she is pregnant, lying under the rubble. One of the victims of the earthquakes in Las Vegas show the father of Dr. Samantha Hill, retired seismologist Earl Hill (Frank Langella) to be. And the daughter of the President has signed up as a volunteer at the Red Cross. When her but nothing happens, the hope is to Beau Bridges - which the thankless task has one of the most cowardly American presidents ever to portray - and his first lady constantly.
As known to the disaster films are mainly the special effects. That's at '10 .5: The Final Earthquake - Part II 'exactly the case. All other factors are secondary to the desire to bring the disaster so shocking and lifelike image possible. The dialogues are therefore toe-curling, the acting lousy (except Hollywood veteran Frank Langella) and camera work pitiful (the cameraman took the view in almost every scene regularly have to use the zoom function, which is already working soon on the nerves). A disaster may hear mainly be judged on the special effects. In these cases '10 .5 - Part II 'reasonable expectations. The disasters brought quite believable on screen, accompanied by the excellent soundtrack by Henning Lohner. Yet there was seen to get the high budget even more from there.
It is especially unfortunate that in '10 .5: The Final Earthquake - Part II 'so little attention is paid to the development of the dialogues and the characters, while time was going to (the film lasts almost three hours). The intention is that the viewer is going to live with them, but in reality it does not really matter to him whether the characters make it dead or alive since. Fortunately, there is a major plus to this otherwise mediocre film; the surprise ending makes a lot of frustration well.

Download Movie À bout de souffle 1960

It is sometimes claimed by evil tongues that all film critics are frustrated theorists who only write about film because they have failed themselves to be successful filmmakers. What truth there is in this theory, it can be argued at least not (anymore) about film legend Jean-Luc Godard, who was both a major critic as a hugely influential and pioneering filmmaker. His first project and immediately his greatest achievement - if it were its own "Citizen Kane" - was "À bout de souffle", a film which broke with tradition in the field of assembly and camera work and this film language changed dramatically. Filmmakers were everywhere liberated by Godard's spontaneous style, which they sometimes inspired directly, for example in the case of Arthur Penn's "Bonnie & Clyde", or encouraging them to develop their own style, such as William Friedkin ("The Exorcist," "The French Connection ') indicating a documentary on the Blu-ray edition of the film. 'À bout de souffle "is one of the largest, most representative films of the Nouvelle Vague movement and a phenomenon in itself. It is a film that even in the twenty-first century - with its smooth, loose style and hip atmosphere - is still fresh and intriguing.
Jean-Luc Godard, before he became famous as a director with "À bout de souffle" critic when founded in 1951, leading French film magazine "Cahiers du Cinema". Together with renowned colleagues such as François Truffaut, Claude Chabrol, Jacques Rivette, and Eric Rohmer (later filmmakers), he was opposed to the old, traditional French cinema, mockingly called the "cinéma de papa". In Godard's first feature film he gives a nice nod to this data when main character Michel Poiccard is approached on the street by a girl to him a copy of "Cahiers du Cinema" wants to sell. "Surely you have nothing against the youth?" The young woman asks as she shows him the magazine. "Yes, I love you more elderly." Replied Michel, running away. Which they nakijkt him in disbelief.
Michel Poiccard just infatuated with old established American heroes such as Marlon Brando and Humphrey Bogart. Of the latter actor he has acquired the habit of rubbing his thumb over his lips, and in one scene he remains even for a while, admiring a photo of "Bogey", which hangs in a display of a cinema. Michel, a debutant Jean-Paul Belmondo, is just about the personification of "coolness" - and this will be - with his hat, sunglasses, and constant cigarette in his mouth. Also quasi-indifferent attitude towards everything and everyone (except Patricia) and (small) criminal behavior shout "anarchism". But while Michel at first glance seems to be a warm and open character, the film does have a heart and a lot of charm. This is not in the least by his co-star Jean Seberg, by her boyish haircut and sometimes playful behavior happens very accessible, despite the seeming inaccessibility of her classic beauty. It is impossible to avert your eyes from her. She is there and admired by land to be and it's not hard to see why Michel has a warm spot in his heart for him.
At the time must 'À bout de souffle "were downright alienating the audience, who was accustomed to continuity editing, stable camera work and a clearly defined, structured script. Jean-Luc Godard threw it all down with its loose narrative (in the core is based on a news story, suggested by colleague François Truffaut), often improvised dialogue, references to film (icons) and culture, and the weird jump cuts and (mere) handheld camerawork. Yet it is in its own way an organic whole, a logical symphony of sound and image. It's a fascinating back-and-forth game between two (near) lovers, and a fun pastiche of ideas, theories and cultural elements. And individual scenes and moments that do not seem to have much in the central story of doing the film just give his own identity.you can download free movies online

Nowadays we have a lot of accustomed and his quick cuts (in action films and video clips) to the order of the day, but still amazes and excites the film still. Characters which are in conversation, and in the next shot is suddenly very elsewhere located in relation to each other, or a collision which you can see only the beginning and the effect. But one of the strangest cuts is probably the crucial murder scene where Michel van approached from behind by a motorcycle cop is when he himself is something out of the car at the address, and himself the next moment just behind the agent seems to stand and shoot him. These are exciting moments that keep the viewer alert him and (sometimes) leave guess the exact circumstances. Interestingly, this "style" was born out of necessity. The film was in fact too long and had to be shortened. But Godard did not waive beloved scenes and story elements and then decided therefore only to remove "excess" transitions within the scenes, with the fleeting, "jazzy" nature of the film as a result. The hip jazz soundtrack is therefore the only choice and the perfect musical complement to the images.
Despite the rapid, sometimes strange cuts the film has not become abstract or incomprehensible. There's just a straightforward story, about two lovers who come to really touch and a (minor) criminal who has a dream to be happy in Rome. And although the story is ultimately subordinated to the style and some story elements - sometimes important, as Patricia's pregnancy or her sudden declaration of Michel to the police - unsatisfactory (or not) are developed, the film has some wonderful scenes with the two main characters sensitive interaction. In particular, the sequence in the bedroom of Patricia has an almost touching and melancholic atmosphere, where you actually get a bond with the characters and hopes that they will be happy in life. Preferably, with each other. Even though the film in terms of content thus indeed better - and need - to convince, "À bout de souffle" certainly has dramatic value addition are generally accepted value as modern art. There is, in short, no reason to let this film pass you. 'À bout de souffle "was, and still a delight to film area.

The newspapers are full of news about it. Certainly in recent years, the problem seems to be getting bigger. Sinking boats, trucks full of people who do not survive the journey, rush to the Channel Tunnel, the situation is distressing. But what actually happens to the people who made the trip indeed bring to a successful conclusion? Manages them to build a new life in a different environment, devoid of family, without speaking the language? The will is there, but the law does not help. Once in the EU, free of the fear of persecution because of religion, political beliefs or sexual orientation, is waiting for the right papers a new obstacle to happiness. In documentary Carnotstraat 17 'Klara van Es paints a picture of a number of migrants in an old and dilapidated building at the Antwerp Carnotstraat have taken up residence.
Thus we see in intimate scenes the concerns of the Armenian Manoukyan family consisting of father, mother and two adorable daughters, aged three and five. Father Ara (38) suffered from health problems and is in a deadlock. He is still illegal, but he manages not only to get papers. The uncertainty is killing the family, but the love flies in your face. Ara still hopes that his children look forward to a better future. The scenes in which he is busy with his daughters are endearing and touching. A Tibetan family followed. Their biggest problem is that they have not yet acquired Belgian nationality. Only then should they return to Tibet, where they like to their family would visit. Meanwhile, they are trying to build a new life with all his might in Belgium. Enthusiastically, they throw themselves to learning the Dutch language (which means that you need to write a hundred times the 'j' or 'f'), or teach them how to deal with cleaners or floor cleaning machine. Whoever makes work of his career, the young Afghan Omar Mohamed, who has been quite a bit of speak Dutch and trained as a carpenter.you can download free movies online
Between this sentimental moments, we see interesting black and white images from the last destination of the property where these immigrants live. On Carnotstraat 17 was housed ever Ciné Rubens, the most modern cinema of Antwerp. Numerous premieres were held there, from "My Fair Lady" to "Doctor Zhivago." Celebrities strolled down the red carpet there, the drinks flowed and tickets were sold out weeks in advance. The contrast is great, but more than that (and the recordings are of interest to cinephiles) is not. The tranquil close-ups of the uprights that do not contribute to. The conversations in the café are however significant. Some regular customers of the Flemish popular café in the city of Aalst (at number 16) give their unvarnished commentary on the many nationalities that can be found in their district are. They also reminisce engulfed in times before the district by immigrants. Also in the African hairdresser - in French - fierce discussions about the hopes and disappointments of Belgium as the new Paradise.
"Carnotstraat 17 'is a documentary that large is not much new under the sun provides, but the portraits of immigrants are indeed fascinating and able to hit you. Hopefully it helps keep the discussion on immigrant issues nuance something.

Download Movie Jackie & Ryan 2014

Music and film, it remains a golden combination. Then we mean, of course, not on film in itself, because it is in any case inseparable, but films with music as its theme. Count your alone biopics that come every year, then you may already well take some time. Fictional films about musicians or people in the music business are quite as popular. 'Frank', 'Eden', "Ricki and the Flash ',' Danny Collins," "Jem and the Holograms", "We Are Your Friends", all films shown in the cinema in 2015 (or even go running) and music which have as their common denominator. "Jackie and Ryan did not get theatrical release but comes straight out on DVD. However, that is no reason to avoid this movie.
We see Ryan (Ben Barnes) for the first time as he sits in a rocking train carriage. This is his transportation method of choice: cheap, it takes you where you want, when you know when to quit. Trouble with the railway police he did not often, so it's worth the risk and discomfort. Ogden, a sleepy little town in Utah, is his next destination. He wants his mentor, Cowboy, seek, but only affects his girlfriend (Clea DuVall) and baby son. Ryan is a street musician, and not without merit. In one of his appearances he meets Jackie (Katherine Heigl) who makes a remark about the fact that he plays only covers and that he should write something. When an accident brings together the two again, Ryan takes temporary shelter in the home of Jackie's mother (Sheryl Lee), where Jackie is drawn in again. They are now going in the middle of a divorce battle, with the stakes custody of nine-year-old daughter Lia (Emily Alyn Lind). Actually, Ryan plans to leave fairly quickly, but a snowstorm throws a spanner in the works. But it gives Jackie and Ryan have the opportunity to come closer together. you can download free movies online
"Jackie & Ryan 'is to some extent predictable. The title alone of course, already gives away that it does not remain at that one meeting and that the two will play a key role in each other's lives. Yet chooses filmmaker Ami Canaan Mann (responsible for both directing and screenplay) not always the beaten path. In the scenario, touched a lot of problems, but much remains unexpended. That gives the film its look at relationships and economic crisis on the one hand a realistic atmosphere, because in real life, after all, remain many issues simmer for years. But on the other hand, the viewer feels sometimes the wool taken as one's financial situation turns out differently than occurred and Ami throws her accumulated credit away.
Also, the film is not always very subtle. Ryan's visits to the local music store where he looks longingly at a (first not yet priced) guitar, zooming in on his possessions just before they are stolen, they are not exactly images where the viewer wants.
But Jackie & Ryan "has a fine cast, a nice languid pace - matching the countryside - and fine (folk) music indeed sufficient pluses. Fine also make the actors themselves, the music and singing. "Jackie and Ryan is a Nicholas Sparks movie without sparks. Understated, simple, nice to see, but not memorable.

Download Movie The Water Diviner 2014

Many actors at age want to broaden their horizons. She started painting, photography or writing. FCP also beckons. Then they can occasionally at least sit down. Fifties Russell Crowe is no exception. For his directorial debut 'The Water diviner "he chose a subject that very few films have been made: the participation of Australian troops in the First World War, the Battle of the Ottoman Gallipoli peninsula as bloody low.
Joshua Crowe plays Connor, an Australian farmer with a sixth sense for finding water sources. Joshua and his wife Lizzie suffer the loss of their three sons who fought at Gallipoli against the Turks and never returned. It puts their relationship under pressure. "Water can be found," Lizzie bites her husband, "but your own children!" When Lizzie commits suicide decision Joshua to travel to Turkey and to identify the bodies of his sons, so he can bury them with their mother . In Istanbul he takes up residence in the hotel of Ayshe (Olga Kurylenko), who lost her husband in the war. Her brother to take her as a second wife, but she feels more for the rugged Australian.
Joshua discovers that Gallipoli after the war was declared off-limits. British and Australian officers look for it with the help of Turkish officers to bodies of Allied soldiers, which are then often buried in unmarked graves. Officer Hughes (Jai Courtney) can not use snoopers and sends Joshua home. Fortunately the farmer gets help from an unexpected source: the Turkish officer Hasan (Yilmaz Erdogan) withdraws his fate and takes it up for him. Because, argues Hasan, Joshua is the only father who came to Gallipoli to seek his sons. Although the Turkish officer was involved in the massacre on the peninsula creates a warm friendship.you can download free movies online
The themes Crowe in 'The Water diviner' broaches may not be original, but relevant. War is good for anyone. On both sides committed atrocities; losses are incurred on both sides. Once you hit the enemy as man sees you closer together. Crowe is at his best when he focuses on the friendship between Joshua and Hasan and the horrors of the battlefield. In a flashback scene we see the three boys seriously injured on the battlefield. One of them groans incessantly. It's almost impossible to hear. That is war.
Unfortunately Crowe kicks his story also falling away. In a cartoon-like battle between Turkish soldiers and murderous Greek troops invading the nuance is suddenly far away. The introduction of a love interest makes the film any good. The romance between Ayshe and Joshua feels unreal and also shoot the still quite talented Kurylenko here quite short. Fortunately, her fellow actors or in form. Erdogan, Courtney and Crowe deliver excellent work and also director of photography Andrew Lesnie deserves praise. With its color filters, he brings the Australian outback, the swirling Istanbul and the battlefield to life.
'The Water diviner' could be a gem, but ends up as an uneven mix of war drama and melodrama. As a first-time director Russell Crowe has long done well, but he has to learn enough. Just where hopes an actor at age.

Download Movie The Spectacular Now 2013

"Describe a challenge or adversity ..." Sutter Keely (Miles Teller) sits at his computer and thinking deeply about what he is going to answer this. It seems that he does not really know how to handle the question, but then he starts typing. We then see a series of flashbacks in which we find out what has recently happened. His girlfriend Cassidy (Brie Larson) terminated the relationship.
Then we just go with Sutter again the present time and we see how he tries things back to pick up by going to a party. Sutter is then woken up on a lawn by Aimee Finecky (Shailene Woodley) which brings about newspapers. The two become pleasant to talk with her and Sutter decides to deliver the remaining papers. Sutter is in the final year of high school and get his math teacher's warning that he should get better results in order to succeed. To its mathematics at what to tweak, Sutter speaks with Aimee, she was good at math. You can download free movies online.
Sutter sums up the light on, he lives in the moment. Planning for the future is not his thing. Alcohol is his firm ally, he takes every day drink to school or to his second job. The quiet and serious Aimee seems to have a good influence on him, but Sutter grabs the chance to give his life a good, different turn? you can download free movies online

"The Spectacular Now" is not your average high school movie. Though it appears the story to go slow, the time that the director used to tell the story is important. It takes time to peel off the layers of Sutter Keeley. There's more to this guy than you initially think. He comes as a cool flierefluiter, but it shows a facade. It's nice to see actor Miles Teller, and Shailene Woodley before they were each other's opponents in the blockbuster 'Divergent' and 'Insurgent'.
The two actors are very relaxed with each other. Miles Teller knows well both the 'cool dude' as to depict the sensitive side of Sutter. If counter the other side of the character might not play so believable than Sutter just become an empty shell and could not sympathize with him. Counter carries the film with verve.
Shailene Woodley is tamer than what you know of her previous roles, but that does not mean she is not as strong. Aimee's character is timid and less straightforward. Woodley knows prevent over Aimee is too dull. The best moments of the character are like knowing she gives what she feels for Sutter. The charm of "The Spectacular Now" is that this film, like the character Sutter Keeley, has more to offer than you actually suspect. It makes you good at thinking. Is it always good to go but from moment to moment, without thinking of the future?
Who Miles Teller, and Shailene Woodley wants to see in a different setting than the action roles in which they are cast lately, can with it anyway enjoy. A funny detail is that the director James Ponsoldt directed a year for "The Spectacular Now" is also a film in which alcohol played a role, "Smashed". The way "The Spectacular Now" ends, nicely chosen. Furthermore, no allusions about it, you must experience it yourself.
