Victor Frankenstein is a new attempt to apply a twist to the classic gothic novel by Mary Shelley, this time told through the eyes of his faithful assistant Igor and focused on the formative years of the disturbed doctor. The film falls into a strange land, something similar to the remake of La Cosa few years ago. Based on an original idea by Max Landis (Operation Ultra), the new story focuses on the rise of Dr. Frankenstein. After release from a circus in which he was constantly physically abused and mentally, Igor (a hunchback with natural talent for medicine) becomes his loyal aide and together carry out innovative research that could change the world forever: transform to death in a reversible state. This controversial experiment will look at Scotland Yard Inspector and Turpin, an official with strong Catholic roots and is considered a sacrilege. At the same time, Igor will witness the growing obsession doctor who ends up leaving the brink of madness.
